Oprah Winfrey has joined the cast of the upcoming Disney animated film The Princess and the Frog. Super O will play the character of Eudora, the mother of the main character Princess Tiana.

The film, set for release in late 2009, is set in the French Quarter of New Orleans.

Andre 3K New Album and New Clothing Line

Rapper turned Designer Andre 3000 launched his new fashion line Benjamin Bixby last week during London’s Fashion Week in Milan. During an interview, he described the line as vintage-inspired 1930’s collegiate looks and says his line appeals to consumers with an “eclectic point of view and a sense of adventure. He also revealed that he will be releasing a new solo project as early as this year.

His partner Big Boi has dropped his longtime manager and there are rumors that he has considered joining Grand Hustle. His album “Sir Luscious Left Foot, The Son Of Chico Dusty” will be released October 28th.

"I play a lesbian, which is fantastic, and I got to be in love with Eva Mendes, which is even more fantastic. Will was like, 'Oh, I had her already. You can have my leftovers'. I love Eva. That's my girl. They took my favorite scene out. I thought I was going to get the opportunity to kiss Eva Mendes, but that didn't happen......I know a lot of lesbians. A lot of them! The actress, who stars in Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys opened up on her relationship with her boyfriend, Adewale Ogunleye, defensive end for the Chicago Bears, her upcoming projects and what she likes to do in her downtime.

He’s really smart and really sweet…” At that moment, Lathan’s internal censor gets reactivated, and the intensely private actress politely says, “I don’t think I should talk about him. Should I?” It would be lovely to learn more about Wale, but she has every right to be wary of the press. During her relationship with her Love & Basketball co-star Omar Epps, there were reports that she was either pregnant or engaged nearly every other week.

During the season, she attends his games in Chicago and on the road when her schedule allows......While she hopes to become a wife and mother someday, she isn’t one to listen to the ticking of her pesky biological clock. “I really want it to be organic. I want it to happen because it’s right for me and my partner,” she says. “Of course, there is that fear and the statistics about the biological clock and having kids. Whenever that comes up, I just try to breathe and say, ‘You know what? Just have faith that it will all work out perfectly.’ “That’s not to say that I don’t have my days when I get depressed or angry,” she continues. “But I definitely practice optimism and gratitude. I’ve seen a difference since I started doing that. It’s like your life shifts around you when you practice that attitude of gratitude.”

Travis Barker and Dj AM Critically Injured in Plane Crash

Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, 32, and DJ AM, 35, were critically injured in a private plane crash in Columbia, SC Friday night. According to air traffic controllers, the plane, which never left the ground, was seen shooting sparks. It skidded off the end of the runway, crashed through a fence, and crossed a roadway before ending up in a ditch where it burst into flames. Witnesses say two men - Barker and AM - both on fire, were seen escaping the plane. Once outside, the two men patted each other down to extinguish the flames. Three men and a woman were confirmed dead inside the plane. Both men are listed in critical condition with “extensive burns.”

It seems that Envogue is reunited once again. A few weeks ago they reunited for the Plymouth Jazz Festival in Tobago and decide to get back together for good. It was said that they only made about 30k a year regardless of record sales, and Dawn eventually left for that reason. You may remember last year her and her and her husband Dre Allen were shopping around a reality show based on them living dirt poor. That fell apart when Dre went into a tantrun and blasted her on myspace.

The protesters held signs saying, "Obama was for gay marriage and abortion, and said his candidacy was "endorsed by the KKK".

 Word on the street is Nivea and lil Weezy are engaged. Inside sources say while attending a lil Weezy concert in St. Louis Nivea was all smiles waving to Weezy with a big ol rock on her ring finger (see photo).  I was somewhat skeptical until I went to Nivea's myspace page and saw about 10 photos of her and Weezy on the front page accompanied by her new song "I love my man". Wayne has been quoted in several magazines proclaiming his love for Nivea, but we all know you cant trust a junkie.

 According to Sister to Sister magazine Deelishes from Flavor of love 2 is now engaged to be married to her on again  off again boyfriend, and baby's father Orlando Gordon. The wedding is scheduled for  July 19, 2009. Deelishes bridesmaides include SWV member Taj Johnson,  Flavor of Love  2 contestant Shay " Buckeey" Johnson, model Toccara Jones, and video vixen Angel Lola Luv.  Sounds like the male guest should bring some ones at this wedding, its gonna be some clear heals in the building.
